The Meadow

Jackletts Meadow is a hidden gem providing a new and exciting marquee venue set in a rural, secluded location near Danbury. The site is in the Danbury parish and a mile from Bicknacre which is in the Woodham Ferrers parish. Despite its rural location, Jackletts Meadow is easily accessible with good road links, only being 10 minutes from the A12 and 30 minutes from the M25.

The Meadow has a scenic fishing lake situated at the top and is surrounded by picturesque farmland and wooded areas, all perfect for creating those magical photos! The site would lend itself to either a traditional marquee, or more modern tipi’s, both of which would allow your friends and family to relax in style celebrating your special day while soaking up the laughter and atmosphere whilst enjoying the amazing sunset that The Meadow offers during the summer months….unforgettable!

Weddings and other events are available at Jackletts Meadow each summer from May to September. The hire of Jackletts Meadow includes exclusive use of the venue, water supply, ample room for parking as well as plenty of assistance and advice from Nick & Rebecca!

Although we do have a recommended list of suppliers, we do not specify that you need to use them.

The site provides you with an amazing backdrop to create your own rustic wedding reception, which allows you plenty of opportunity to create a wedding that can be as unique as you are.

We are fully insured to hold events and there is plenty of space for parking! We are not licensed for weddings actually at The Meadow, but there are some beautiful churches in neighbouring villages, as well as Registration Offices in the main towns in Essex.

The Meadow can cater for small bespoke weddings or parties, right up to larger events for up to 200 people. There are several accommodation options nearby for your guests should they need it too!

If our beautiful rural setting sounds like it is what you are after, why not come and visit us to see the place for yourself and let your imagination start running wild with what you can do at Jackletts Meadow!
